The black screen shows the following error:
THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE HP ENDPOINT SECURITY CONTROLLER ON THE UNIT.PLEASE CONTACT HP INC. TO HAVE THE UNIT SERVICED.
At first they even thought that the backlight had died, but then when they shined a flashlight on it, they saw the inscription.
